Hubbard Hill is located at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains in Orange County, New York, 65 miles northwest of NYC. We plan on having slaughter goats available for customer pick-up on the hoof, but I also enjoy breeding and showing since my 4-H dairy cattle days. When all the fence is built we will have about 12 acres of pasture. We currently have 1 50%, 5 Fullblood does, 1 fullblood doeling, 1 75% doe, and 1 buck.
Hubbard Hill is run by myself, David S. Hubbard III and my wife Karen with assistance from our 4 year old son Giovanni. We also have a newborn daughter Lydia Lorraine, born January 11th, 2007. I am a graduate of SUNY Morrisville and of Cornell University and am employed in the construction field. Karen works at Mohonk Mountain House, an historic hotel on top of the Shawangunk Ridge near New Paltz, NY. We are new to Boer Goats but I (Dave), have a lot of dairy cattle experience and am trying to teach city girl Karen as much as I can, but some things she's just gonna have to learn the hard way .
